Rarely are the po-po up in triage, and when they are they pretty much just politely ask the hoodrats to stop acting foolish. There's about 3 cops in total that actually do a damn thing, and other than that we're pretty much on our own.hoodnursehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15467790713937519943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7495327656501821802.post-78247427580112313072011-06-21T11:37:56.600-07:002011-06-21T11:37:56.600-07:00Oh my gosh Rachedy, I want to get $3/hr extra to w...Oh my gosh Rachedy, I want to get $3/hr extra to work triage. God, I hate triage. I'd rather be in charge than be out there. And every single 12 hr shift, I'm either out there or in charge for part of it.Meghannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7495327656501821802.post-4181968438483986752011-06-20T14:16:49.429-07:002011-06-20T14:16:49.429-07:00If I worked in triage all the time I would jump of...If I worked in triage all the time I would jump off the hospital roof or push one of the idiot triagees off the roof.girlvethttp://emergency-room-nurse.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7495327656501821802.post-70538783861217715442011-06-20T10:50:17.646-07:002011-06-20T10:50:17.646-07:00Come on, Ms. Hoodnurse. My rule is if you would get thrown out of Victoria's Secret for acting that way, you can't act that way to me either. There's no special disorderly conduct rule for family members in an ER. Sometimes I'm in a nice mood and give ya one chance, but lots of times, nope, yo butt be getting hauled outside.Nurse Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06408755992926959084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7495327656501821802.post-54677701052165483992011-06-19T20:30:12.526-07:002011-06-19T20:30:12.526-07:00two weeks, more like two days, seriously you would...two weeks, more like two days, seriously you would need to have your ipod in and on full blast to deal with idiots like this all day long.Mrs Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03109885833512528798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7495327656501821802.post-59547778903427674712011-06-19T18:56:26.628-07:002011-06-19T18:56:26.628-07:00I dunno, if I wanted to write short stories or a n...I dunno, if I wanted to write short stories or a novel, maybe a triage job would offer good material!terri chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09398808840234914275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7495327656501821802.post-49116080368830736072011-06-19T17:24:05.967-07:002011-06-19T17:24:05.967-07:00Oh, we have a full time triage nurse who works eve...Oh, we have a full time triage nurse who works every weekend. There is no way she would ever get out of her chair to work in the back. She sits in her triage box all day long on some weird ass message board with vampires on it. She doesn't even get up to survey the place, make sure nobody has died in the waiting room. She over head pages patients on the intercom to come to her. She places patients by going room 1, room 2, etc, no matter that poor nurse who just got 5 patients in 5 minutes into their rooms. She's the laziest ED nurse I've ever seen in my life. And the worst part is they pay her $3 more an hour for that job.Rachedyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13662514424429152754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7495327656501821802.post-67867372403459591912011-06-19T13:51:42.121-07:002011-06-19T13:51:42.121-07:00NPO, that is so true. I take care of so many little old ladies with broken hips who are totally calm and polite, while the healthy young man in the next bed with a boil on his butt is screaming for more pain meds.
